Visiting Scholars

ERCOMER offers to visiting scholars a supervisor (for consultation and feedback), administrative support and a work place (desk). Visiting scholars are PhD’s or post-docs from other institutions working in the field of migration and ethnic relations. The term for visits is open. Visiting scholars are appreciated to give three short presentations at ERCOMER membership meetings, namely an introduction, a mid-term research results presentation, and the end-of-the-visit presentation.

Fellows at ERCOMER agree to arrange their travel, housing and subsistence in the Netherlands on their own and declare to have the funds to do this. ERCOMER is not in the position to financially support fellows’ residence and their research, or to provide for a salary or grant.

ERCOMER offers no visiting scholar opportunities to undergraduate or master’s students.
