Dr. Philip Muus

Associate Professor

Philip Muus is a social geographer with a primary interest in comparative research with regard to international migration and the labour market next to refugee studies in general.
From October 1st 2001, he joined the IMER at Malmö University in Sweden.

He has been the Dutch correspondent for the SOPEMI migration observatory of the OECD for the period:1985-2001. He was formerly the co-ordinator of the Center of Migration Research that was based at the Geography Dep. of the University of Amsterdam which merged with ERCOMER in September 1996. From April 2001 to October 2001, he shared the directorship of ERCOMER with Prof. Dr. Louk Hagendoorn.
